Dec. 20, 2014: Athena Voltaire Compendium SigningSteve Bryant appears at Westfield Comics East on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM to sign Athena Voltaire Compendium!
July 9, 2014: Girls with Slingshots SigningCartoonist Danielle Corsetto is doing a cross country tour to celebrate ten years of her Girls with Slingshots (comic)! Danielle will have GWS books 1 through 7 available for purchase, as well as signing books and meeting & greeting fans! She appears at Westfield Comics on Wednesday, July 9th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm!
In addition to GWS, Danielle wrote and drew The New Adventures of Bat Boy for the Weekly World News (taking the reins from Bat Boy’s kind & talented former creator Peter Bagge), contributed to the CBLDF fundraising book More Fund Comics, and has written a couple of Adventure Time original graphic novels (with another on the way)!
March 22, 2014: Hellboy DayMarch 22 marks the twentieth anniversary of Mike Mignola's career-defining release of Hellboy: Seed of Destruction #1. After the character's somewhat humble beginnings in an eight-page feature in Dark Horse's San Diego Comic-Con Comics special, Seed of Destruction would begin the long life of the beloved "beast of the apocalypse."
In December, Dark Horse declared that March 22, 2014, would be Hellboy Day, with events happening in comic shops around the world!
