May 4, 2024: Free Comic Book Day

Free Comic Book Day is here! On Saturday 4th May 2024 and we’re happy to host another jam-packed day to celebrate. As part of our festivities, we have a signing between 3-4pm with 3 of comics’ top talents! Our All Star Lineup – Kieron Gillen, creator of Wicked and the Divine, Phonogram and the writer behind classic takes on Marvel characters like Loki and The X-Men. Kieron is joined by Dan Watters, fresh off his run on DC’s Bat Family books, heading into his creator owned Six Fingers. Finally, film maker and (now) comics writer Ben Wheatley of High Rise, A Field in England, Rebecca and The Meg 2 fame, promoting his latest comics releases Kosmik Musik and Utility! The trio will be signing here on Saturday 4th May, from 3-4pm.

March 23, 2024: Introduction to Charts Signing

Tom Humberstone and Chrissy Williams make their return to Gosh! launching Introduction to Charts, a 28-page risograph printed fusion of poetry and comics. They’ll be signing here on Saturday 23rd March 2024, from 1-2pm.

March 16, 2024: Immortal Thor Signing

Writer Al Ewing (Avengers, Ultimates, Immortal Hulk, Venom) will be signing copies of his latest Marvel triumph, Immortal Thor Vol 1: All Weather Turns to Storm on Saturday 16th March 2024 from 1-2pm.

Dec. 9, 2023: The Great British Bump-Off Signing

To celebrate the collected edition of The Great British Bump-Off, we’re welcoming John Allison to the shop on Saturday 9th December 2023, from 1-2pm.

Nov. 29, 2023: Thalamus Signing

Dave McKean, iconic artist of Signal To Noise, Sandman, Black Dog, Batman: Arkham Asylum and many more, brings his first art book, Thalamus: The Art of Dave McKean to Gosh Comics to celebrate with a talk and signing on Wednesday 29th November 2023, from 7.30-9pm. This is your chance to get a signed first edition, so don’t miss out!

Thalamus is the ultimate collection of Dave McKean’s art, featuring countless pieces of his gorgeous work, not just from his illustrious comics career, but from all avenues of his artistic endeavours. Featuring commentary by Dave McKean and unseen artwork, this two hardbook package spanning 600 pages is beautifully arranged and presented in a decadent slipcase. This is an unmissable item for any fans of McKean’s work.
