Writer Dan Slott will be signing the Forbidden Planet variant of the first issue of Fantastic Four at the London Megastore at 6:00 PM on Wednesday 8th August.
BECAUSE YOU DEMANDED IT – THE WORLD’S GREATEST COMIC MAGAZINE IS BACK!
Since the end of Secret Wars, there’s been a gap in the Marvel Universe. A void no other team can fill. And it’s time for the world to move on. But can it?
Dan Slott and artist Mike Allred launched a new Silver Surfer series in May 2014 – and in 2016, issue #11 won the Eisner Award for “Best Single Issue of the Year”. In late 2017, it was revealed that Slott would be finishing his lengthy run on The Amazing Spider-Man. He wrote his last major storyline, Go Down Swinging, from issue #797-800, which detailed Spider-Man fighting a Carnage-bonded Green Goblin. Slott is currently writing Tony Stark: Iron Man and Fantastic Four.
Dan will be signing The Forbidden Planet variant of Fantastic Four #1, with an Inhyuk Lee cover, limited to 3,000 copies worldwide!
Past EventsJuly 10, 2018: Charlie’s Angels #1 Signing
Writer John Layman appears at Forbidden Planet to sign CHEW VOL. 1 and CHARLIE’S ANGELS #1 on Tuesday 10th July.
In CHEW, Tony Chu is a detective with a secret, a weird secret – he’s Cibopathic, which means he gets psychic impressions from whatever he eats.
It also means he’s a hell of a detective, as long as he doesn’t mind nibbling on the corpse of a murder victim to figure out whodunit, and why. He’s been brought on by the Special Crimes Division of the Fda, the most powerful law enforcement agency on the planet, to investigate their strangest, sickest, and most bizarre cases.
In CHARLIE’S ANGELS, the Angels are back, baby! The original Angels, Jill, Kelly and Sabrina!
Travel back to the swingin’ 70s, and revisit the butt-kicking, crime-fighting, mould-breaking lady detectives who took 70s TV by storm, ready to do the same to comics 40 years later! Break out your bell-bottoms, feather your hair, and jump back to a era of peanut-farmer presidents, gargantuan gas-guzzlers and foxy female detectives for a globe-trotting adventure that’s simply too big and epic for the 70s-era boob tube.
Written by elderly Eisner winner and solicitation-writing former-superstar John Layman, and with art by his scrappy but loveable youngster pal, Joe Eisma.July 5, 2018: Star Wars #50 Signing

IN THIS ISSUE HOPE DIES. The REBEL FLEET is completed.
It’s magnificent. It’s beautiful. It’s secret. But no secret is kept for long from DARTH VADER. The most epic story yet done in a STAR WARS comic begins here. Prepare to witness the Empire TRULY strike back.
Kieron Gillen is a video game and music journalist turned comic book author, who has worked for Image Comics and Marvel Comics. His most notable works include Iron Man, Thor, Young Avengers, The Wicked + The Divine, Journey Into Mystery, and Uncanny X-Men. He also founded one of the world’s most respected gaming blogs, Rock Raper Shotgun.June 30, 2018: DMC Vol. 3 Signing
Darryl McDaniels will be signing DMC VOL. 3 at the Forbidden Planet London Megastore on Saturday 30th June from 1:00 – 2:00 PM!
It’s 1985 in New York City – and, in this timeline, Darryl McDaniels (Run DMC) never rocks the mic to become one of hip-hop’s most enduring icons. Instead, he dons his tracksuit and Adidas sneakers to defend the city’s marginalised citizens against super villain and hero alike, leaving no traces besides the imprint of his knuckle rings on his opponents’ faces. (By day, though, he teaches junior high school English.)
DMC, out from Darryl Makes Comics, imagines an alternate history that blends traditional comic book storytelling with the pressures and anxieties of 1980’s NYC, and explores how we got to where we are now. DMC is a superhero for those who need one most.June 27, 2018: 75 Years Of DC Comics Signing
