May 3, 2014: Free Comic Book Day

Local talent and DC /Vertigo superstar Jeff Lemire, will be in-store on Free Comic Book Day Saturday May 3rd 2014.

He will be signing copies of the FCBD comic, DC Futures End, and has offered to do sketches as time permits. We will have a generous number of copies of his New book Justice League United, Blank cover edition, on hand. These will be perfect for sketches and your chance to get a truly unique first issue of what looks to be DC's latest hit title.

April 26, 2014: Justice League United Signing

Comics creator Jeff Lemire appears at Comics and More on SATURDAY, APRIL 26 from noon till 3:00 pm! He will be on hand to sign copies of the first issue of JUSTICE LEAGUE UNITED, featuring a new Canadian version of the Justice League and the first appearance of the brand-new, teenage, Cree superhero EQUINOX!

Lemire says on his blog, “This will be my only Toronto-area signing for the comic. I will be signing and giving away 5 limited edition blank variant covers with sketches of Justice League characters by me! Copies of all of other books will be for sale, but stock is limited. I will also have original art form Trillium, Animal Man and Sweet Tooth available.”

March 22, 2014: Hellboy Day

March 22 marks the twentieth anniversary of Mike Mignola's career-defining release of Hellboy: Seed of Destruction #1. After the character's somewhat humble beginnings in an eight-page feature in Dark Horse's San Diego Comic-Con Comics special, Seed of Destruction would begin the long life of the beloved "beast of the apocalypse."

In December, Dark Horse declared that March 22, 2014, would be Hellboy Day, with events happening in comic shops around the world!
