March 22, 2014: Hellboy DayMarch 22 marks the twentieth anniversary of Mike Mignola's career-defining release of Hellboy: Seed of Destruction #1. After the character's somewhat humble beginnings in an eight-page feature in Dark Horse's San Diego Comic-Con Comics special, Seed of Destruction would begin the long life of the beloved "beast of the apocalypse."
In December, Dark Horse declared that March 22, 2014, would be Hellboy Day, with events happening in comic shops around the world!

May 5, 2012: FCBD Comes Back to Vegas!I think were ready. I hope were ready. 2 tents check, DJ check, Tasty Bunz Truck check, oh yea over 15,000 comics to give away check. This is the first year that we have had volunteers this should help to make this the best FCBD ever. Starting @ 10 am til we run out come on down, spread the word, this is our day to celebrate this awesome hobby.
I took a tour of the Hardrock Cafe the sight of John Romita Jr's Heroes for Jordan. John has print for the event. I'm going to send another email later this week with info about parking, prices, and times. Also the UA theater by the Hardrock Cafe is going to be showing the Avengers all weekend while your waiting for your sketch you can see the Hulk Smash stuff!
