July 26, 2023: I Was a Teenage Michael Jackson Impersonator Signing

Keith Knight, cartoonist of the long running series of K Chronicles humor graphic novels, (Th)ink, and basis for Woke, a television show on Hulu, has a new graphic novel out, I was A Teenage Michael Jackson Impersonator! and Alternate Reality Comics is elated to be on his signing tour! Keith will have copies of I Was A Teenage Michael Jackson Impersonator that you can purchase directly from Keith on Wednesday, July 26th from 4-6pm, he will happily sign this for you as well as other books of his you have! Complimentary soft drinks and snacks will be provided.

June 2, 2018: Where We Live Anthology Signing

JH Williams III, James Robinson, Larime & Sylv Taylor, Josh Ellis, Scott David Johnson, Jarret Keene, Rachel Crosby, Matt Sorvillo, Pierce Elliott Jennifer Battisti, Wendy Wright-Williams, Daniel Hernandez, Jason Harris, Brian Haberlin, and Talia Hershewe appear at Alternate Reality Comics on Saturday, June 2nd at 2:00 PM to sign the WHERE WE LIVE anthology!

Where We Live is a 300 page comic book graphic novel anthology published by Image Comics that will benefit the shooting survivors of the the mass shooting that happened here in Las Vegas last October 1st. Wendy & JH Williams III, who have called Las Vegas home for two years now, have poured many hours and months into assembling local creators as well as a who’s who of great comic book creators to share personal stories of what happened in Vegas that night as well as other topics involving gun violence, so you know there’s going to be many powerful poignant stories & art within Where We Live (title by Wendy, who has a poem within too). JH has painted a four page Neil Gaiman story that he says is one of the darkest things he’s ever read by Neil (JH also did the cover of Where We Live & has some other art within).

Aug. 15, 2015: Old Wounds Signing

Russell Lissau, co-creator of the acclaimed murder-mystery series OLD WOUNDS, will be in Las Vegas on Saturday, August 15 for an appearance at Alternate Reality Comics!

Come on down to Alternate Reality Comics at 3:00 p.m. to meet Russell, get copies of all four issues of OLD WOUNDS signed, and learn more about Russell’s other projects. We’ll also have copies of THE BEST OF OMEGA COMICS PRESENTS Vol. 1, which features a number of his stories, including the first appearance of detectives Hess and King from OLD WOUNDS.

Refreshments and beverages will be served, and we’ll have other surprises planned as well.
