Jan. 11, 2013 to Jan. 13, 2013: Incoming Comics Collection Sale

Have you noticed those 28 longboxes in the front of the store? We sure have, and we want them out!

This is a newly-arrived collection of mainly Marvel and DC comics from the last two decades, mostly complete runs, and we're going to release them to you folks starting on Friday, January 11th and continuing on through Sunday, January 13th.

A brand new single owner collection is pretty good, but here's what makes it great:

Anything up to 20 comics is a buck a piece.

Anything from 21 comics to 50 comics is .50 a piece.

Anything over 50 comics is a quarter a piece!

So, 50 quality books would cost you a measly $35.00, bucko! The more you stack, the bigger your savings.

Come on in and save Mike and Denny the hassle of filing all these comics into the back issue bins!

May 5, 2012: Free Comic Book Day

On May 5th, Back to the Past Pop Culture Warehouse, along with over two thousand comic book shops across North America and around the world will share the magic of comic books with their communities when they give out over 3.5 million comic books—free of charge—during Free Comic Book Day, which marks its eleventh anniversary this year.

There’s literally a free comic book available for everyone’s taste, including such favorites as The Avengers, Yo Gabba Gabba!, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Transformers…there’s even a comic book on Animal Planet’s The World’s Most Dangerous Animals.

Comic book publishing heavyweights Dark Horse Comics, DC Entertainment, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, and Marvel Comics are among the many sponsors creating special titles for Free Comic Book Day 2012. The free books are designed to appeal to a broad range of tastes, including action-packed super-hero stories featuring Superman and Spider-Man; sci-fi adventures set in the universes of Star Wars and Transformers; classic tales starring Charles Schulz’s Peanuts and Walt Disney’s Donald Duck; and great kids comics for younger fans featuring The Smurfs, Sonic the Hedgehog, and Owly.

Along with free comics, Back to the Past will feature appearances of favorite super-heroes, and custom comic art balloons for the kids!
