Danielle M. Paige, author of Mera: Tidebreaker, appears along with writer Kami Garcia and artist Gabriel Picolo, the creative team for Teen Titans: Raven, on Sunday, June 30, 2019! This event will run from 1 PM – 3 PM.

Aug. 13, 2018: Savage Shalvey Tour Signing

Big Planet Comics is proud to announce that Declan Shalvey, artist and writer extraordinaire, will be signing at the College Park store on Monday August 13th at 5:00 PM.

Declan is one of those rare talents who has both written and drawn hundreds of amazing pages for Marvel, DC, and Image. If you are familiar with Declan’s work on Deadpool, Batman, Moon Knight, and Injection be sure to check out his original graphic novel, Savage Town, about real events in Limerick, Ireland. It’s a fascinating look at real crime in a real city.

March 16, 2016: Another Castle/Doorman Signing

Big Planet Comics is proud to welcome local artists Kendall Goode and Paulina Ganucheau for their two new comic series, The Doorman from Heavy Metal, and Another Castle from Oni Press on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at 2:00 PM!

In The Doorman, Henry Clay Waters is The Doorman of Earth and hasn’t had an interstellar visitor in decades until… his last day on the job when an extraterrestrial assassin darkens his doorstep. Saved by the neurotic alien Detective Flower, the two must team up to solve the galaxy’s biggest mystery or get killed trying!

In Another Castle, Princess Misty of Beldora longs for a more exciting life, but gets more than she bargained for when she is captured by Lord Badlug, the ruler of the neighboring kingdom of Grimoire. He intends to marry her and conquer Beldora, leading the land into ruin and chaos. Together with the long-suffering citizens of Grimoire and a certain bumbling prince, Misty must fight to protect her kingdom and free both realms from Badlug’s tyrannical rule.

Aug. 29, 2015: Zodiac Starforce Signings

Big Planet Comics is proud to welcome our hometown heroes, Kevin Panetta and Paulina Ganucheau, for two signings for their new Dark Horse Comics series, Zodiac Starforce! They will appear at the Vienna store on Saturday August 29th from 1:00-4:00 PM and at the College Park store from 4:00-6:00 PM!

We will have an EXCLUSIVE Big Planet Comics variant of issue #1 for sale, as well as a limited edition print of the cover!
Zodiac Starforce is an elite group of teenage girls with magical powers have sworn to protect our planet against dark creatures… as long as they can get out of class!
