March 22, 2014: Hellboy DayMarch 22 marks the twentieth anniversary of Mike Mignola's career-defining release of Hellboy: Seed of Destruction #1. After the character's somewhat humble beginnings in an eight-page feature in Dark Horse's San Diego Comic-Con Comics special, Seed of Destruction would begin the long life of the beloved "beast of the apocalypse."
In December, Dark Horse declared that March 22, 2014, would be Hellboy Day, with events happening in comic shops around the world!
June 15, 2013: Boba Fett SigningJeremy Bulloch signs at The Core on Father’s Day Weekend, June 15th from 11:00-5:00, and June 16th from 12:00-5:00! Mr. Bulloch will have many 8 x 10 photos of him as BOBA FETT available for purchase with autograph for only $25.00. He will sign your personal Star Wars items for $20.00.
Bring your camera and have photos taken for FREE with the purchase of an autograph. If you only wish to take a photo with Mr. Bulloch (with no autograph purchase) the price is $5.00.
Along with Mr. Bulloch’s appearance, members of the Mandalorian Mercs costume club will be on site at The CORE on Saturday helping with crowd control, posing for photos, and adding to the fun.

Bring 1 non-perishable food item for donation to the Northeast Iowa Food Bank (and your camera) to have your picture taken with the Batmobile!
