The Catholic Church has set up a secret order to deal with demonic activity. It is led by Father Merrick, his assistant, Sister Margaret Day, Kord, an 11th century stone golem that has converted from the Kabbalic teachings to Catholicism and Harley, a teenaged genetic experiment wherein scientists sliced human DNA with that of several reptiles. Their task is to battle the Seven Deadly Sins.
