Soul Swallower

A Grecian myth tells how the souls of the unborn flutter through the air as butterflies and that if a woman were to swallow one she would bear a child. Psykhe (literally "soul"), the Greek Goddess of the Soul and wife of Eros, is often portrayed as having butterfly wings. Inspired by this symbolism Soul Swallower is the allegorical tale of a man's transformation when an ordinary journey takes a magical turn. Expressing the dilemma facing modern society as we negotiate our increasingly compex lives, this Graphic-Poem reminds us of a distant voice; a memory of an almost forgotten realm.
