Warren explores the darker side of man and when he comes across the book The Necronomicon, a book that can reveal the locations of the darkest and oldest mysteries of the stygian unknown; he wastes no time packing up his reluctant chronicler and assistant, Randolph Carter, to take with him to explore one such site. This Lovecraft tale is adapted by award winning comic writer Steven Philip Jones (CALIBER's Sherlock Holmes, Dracula).
