Mother Teresa: Saint of the Slums
Born in Bosnia, Agnes Bojaxhiu found her calling in the Church when she heard stories of Bengali missionaries in her teenage years. Her journey would take her first to Ireland and then to India where she became known as Mother Teresa, bringing the word of Christ to millions as the founder of a new religious order, the Missionaries of Charity. Lewis Helfand explores the life and work of this beloved figure in Mother Teresa: Saint of the Slums.
