While our four protagonists go on the run across the country, they experiment with radical solutions to our biggest national injustices - healthcare, the environment, civil rights violations, refugees, education, the economy - inspiring a movement through social media that the media vilifies. American Terrorist asks how ordinary citizens can battle for a democracy that feels further and further out of reach.
