In the Holy United States of America, Samantha Skylin is selected to go on a mission of mercy to the walled off land of Unbelievers. The righteous Almsgiving Day pilgrimage goes awry when Samantha is captured by the Unbelievers she's sworn to save. Outside of the safety of the theocratic bubble for the first time in her life Samantha's beliefs are challenged as she's forced to hear a different point of view.
