Dan is a prolific writer, his work ranging from Sinister Dexter with 2000AD to the video game Alien: Isolation. With co-writer Andy Lanning he has written the Legion of Superheroes story Legion Lost and the Guardians of the Galaxy featuring the team that inspired the popular feature film.
Dan has recently been writing the DC rebirth titles Aquaman and Titans. On March 3rd he will be signing copies of the newly released Titans Volume 1: The Return of Wally West.

Orbital Comics is very excited to have an exclusive exhibition featuring original artwork by Joseph Samuels and Daniel Francis from the pages of the new graphic novel by Skank and Black Eye creator Bobby Joseph.
The exhibition runs until Saturday, January 7th, when we’ll have all three creators signing copies of the book here at Orbital from 3pm.
James Roberts and Jack Lawrence will visit Orbital Comics on Friday, December 16, 2016 to sign the first issue of Transformers: Lost Light from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. The store will also host an exhibition of Lawrence’s artwork.

March 22 marks the twentieth anniversary of Mike Mignola's career-defining release of Hellboy: Seed of Destruction #1. After the character's somewhat humble beginnings in an eight-page feature in Dark Horse's San Diego Comic-Con Comics special, Seed of Destruction would begin the long life of the beloved "beast of the apocalypse."
In December, Dark Horse declared that March 22, 2014, would be Hellboy Day, with events happening in comic shops around the world!

For our next exhibition, we are proud to present Christian Ward’s Dead Cats. Spinning out of the much-lauded Infinite Vacation mini-series from Image comics (co-created by Christian and Nick Spencer), Dead Cats features both art from Infinite Vacation, and new pieces exploring the possibilities of parallel universes and quantum mechanics.
Christian recently worked with Matt Fraction on a DHP short called “The Time Ben Fell In Love”, and has been confirmed as co-creator, with Fraction again, on next year’s ODY-C. Coming from Image Comics, this will be a gender-swapped sci-fi take on Homer’s Odyssey.

Peter Hogan is a stalwart of the British comics scene, but is probably best known for his work on Neil Gaiman’s Sandman for Vertigo (Marquee Moon, Love Street) as well as his work with Alan Moore on America’s Best Comics (Tom Strong, Terra Obscura).
Hogan has undergone a resurgence of late thanks to a new creator-owned series from Dark Horse (Resident Alien) plus a new Tom Strong mini-series (The Planet of Peril). Orbital is proud to have Peter in store on Saturday, August 17 to sign copies of Resident Alien, Tom Strong, Terra Obscura, and more – just for you. Mark it on your calendar!
Maybe it’s part of their masterplan to take over the world, or maybe it’s just that cool cats hang out with cool cartoonists, but have you ever noticed how often cats show up in comics? They turn up in autobiographical stories, playing the main role in their own strips and sometimes even as fully anthropomorphic characters.
We love it all! Some of us here at Orbital even claim that’s the combination of two of the best things ever (cats and comics!). So to celebrate it, we have put together an exhibition featuring some of the top names in alternative comics with a whole lot of kitties too.
