Dec. 9, 2017: Babyteeth Variant SigningWriter Donny Cates will visit Ssalefish Comics on Saturday December 9th. He will be at Ssalefish Greensboro from noon to 2:00 PM and at Ssalefish Winston Salem from 4:00 until 6:00 PM.
Donny has written Ssalefish favorites God Country (our exclusive paperback is on sale now), Redneck (Charity variants available at the signing), Babyteeth (Ssalefish exclusive will available early), Atomahawk and others. If that wasn’t enough, Donny is also the writer of the megabooks Thanos and Doctor Strange for Marvel.

Commemorating what would have been his 100th birthday this August, superstar creator Shane Davis pays homage to Jack Kirby’s largest contributions to the DC Universe including Orion, Darkseid and the rest of the New Gods in a jam packed special worthy of The King!
“In a feature length story, Orion and Lightray must come to the aid of Forager and his people, as Kalibak has established a brutal dictatorship over the Bug colony. In confronting his evil brother, Orion faces the darker side of his own nature.”
The issue will also feature a back-up story by comics giant Walter Simonson and two reprints of classic Kirby tales.
Shane has been a staple fan-favorite artist at DC Comics for over ten years, most notably on the first two volumes of the New York Times best-selling original graphic novel series Superman: Earth One. In 2015, he took his superstardom into the realm of creator-owned work, writing as well as drawing his own series Axcend from Image Comics.
